Climate change puts millions of people at risk of being displaced due to more frequent and severe droughts, storms, floods, and other weather-related hazards. Co-organised by the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United Nations University - Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), this event will bring together experts to discuss the opportunities and challenges of risk modelling to assess future risk of displacement in a changing climate, and how risk models can inform policy development and planning.
