Hope on the Horizon: Media Guide to Afghanistan National Policy on Internal Displacement

Afghanistan has experienced extraordinary levels of internal displacement due to over thirty years of armed conflict, recurrent natural disasters and serious human rights violations. The policy establishes the first comprehensive framework for upholding the rights of Afghanistan’s IDPs, for finding solutions to end internal displacement and includes measures to prevent future IDPs.
